I live in London with my wife Diane and my son Jay. We're Americans. Part of the fun of living here is getting the outsider's perspective -- tracking events in your home country from abroad and learning how others view your homeland.

We moved here in early August 2001, a little more than a month before Sept. 11. We're New Yorkers.
