There are a few differences between British English and American English when it comes to food names:

America's zucchini is Britain's courgette (the plural is courgettes).

Over here, an eggplant is an aubergine.

And snow pea pods are mange tout (which, I think, translates from French to "eat all of it").

Interesting, non?
