We went to see "Anything Goes" at the National Theatre last night. An absolutely wonderful production. Good cast, good singing, great dancing and those fantastic Cole Porter lyrics. The set and the band are also a treat.

This show produced such classic songs as "You're the Top," "Friendship," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow" and, of course, "Anything Goes." It has special meaning for Diane and me: the 1987 production at Lincoln Center was the first play we attended together. And the London production is a revival of the 1987 version.

If you're in London or planning to come here, see this show.
